| Abstract | In this paper we present one comparison of the precipitation over the Northeast Region of Brazil (NEB) for the period January 1998 - May 1998. In January 1998 .was verified the occurrence of above-normal precipitation over de NEB region, while the rainfall season (march-april-may) was bellow-normal. These results are analyzed with the global ocean configured by ENSO in the Pacific Ocean and the weak SST dipole over the tropical Atlantic Ocean. |
